INDIAN PONY

Indian mountain pony. Wild horses utilized by the North American Indians in Western Canada. There are several herds sprinkled throughout the Rockies. This one comes from the Eastern Slopes in Alberta and known as "Alberta Wildies " or "Spirit Horses". Chilcotin herds have DNA that traces back to ancient lineages like the Siberian Yakut pony.
