CALGARY SKYLINE

When they say that the sky's are huge here out west, you can't imagine it until you see it. There is nothing comparable back east. The contrast of the wide open spaces and the rolling foothills marching up to the jagged, rocky, snow covered peaks of the Western Cordilleras, the dramatic colors and shades of the sky, make it look enormous. It forces your perspective and suggests that the sky's are much higher and wider than anywhere back east where I'm from. You can easily navigate with only your senses. If you're looking to the north and you can feel the wind on the left side of your face, turn towards it and there are the mountains. What do you see when you turn your head to the right? Who cares...the West is the Best!!
